The cold and damp Saturday of January 21, 2012 sported the event of a colossal clean-out of the Quartermaster’s closet in Ames Hall.
Camp Yawgoog is a Boy Scout Reservation that hosts summer camps and rents out campsites. Camp Yawgoog includes three different camps as well as outlying campsites with a total of 1800 acres of land. The camp was founded in 1916 and is the fourth oldest continuously run scouting reservation in America. It is located near Rockville, Rhode Island.
On the weekend of September 17-18, 2011, members of Troop 61 Sudbury canoed off the shore of Cape Cod to Washburn Island, an uninhabited strip of land no more than two miles long. Before becoming a popular camping spot, the island had been used as a World War II landing site for the Army Amphibious Command. As a service project, scouts were encouraged to pick up trash left by previous campers.

This year, your son has an important decision to make: Which Boy Scout Troop is he going to join? There are 3 Troops in Sudbury, and you can join whichever Troop you and he think suits your family best. It doesn’t matter which school, church, synagogue or temple you have or will attend, you can chose any Boy Scout Troop. How can you work out which Troop is best for you? We suggest you visit with them all, decide which one seems like the most fun, and decide which one has the program and boys that seem like the best fit for you.
