Next camp out March 24/25

Announcements — March 8, 2007 @ 10:36 am

Hi,

The next campout is planned for Saturday March 24 to Sunday March 25th.
We will be going to camp Hemenway in Tamworth, NH, which is about 10
miles northeast of lake Winnipesaukee (it is about a 2-hour ride).
There are two cabins, one with electric heat and one with a wood stove
(there is also room for tents if anyone is inclined to sleep
outside). We are planning the activities, one of which will
include climbing a fire tower that is nearby. We will leave
early Saturday morning and return Sunday afternoon. Details regarding
cost for food to follow. Below is a link that briefly describes the
camp and attached are directions.

A sign-up sheet will be at the next two Wednesday meetings. If for some
reason you can not make these meetings to sign up, please e-mail me, and
I will add you to the list.

Please see me or respond to this e-mail if you have any questions.

this week’s scout meeting

Announcements — March 5, 2007 @ 1:08 pm

Hi everyone. Our Court of Honor, which was scheduled for this week, has
been postponed for a while. Due to the snow storm on Feb. 14, winter
break, and town report stuffing, we are a little backed up!
Instead, this week we will hold *patrol leader elections*. Also, Mrs.
Landrigan will be there to continue work with the music merit badge.
Bring an instrument to play if you are close to completing the badge, as
that is one of the requirements. This month, the citizenship badges will
be focused on. Counselors for Cit in Community, Cit in Nation, and Cit
in World will be at the meetings to help you guys get started on these.
We’ll see you on Wednesday. Lisa

Town Report Stuffing night

Announcements — February 25, 2007 @ 7:47 am

Hello Troop 61

Wednesday night we will be stuffing the Town Reports and Warrants. This is a major fund raising event for the troop, the scouts and every family is expected to participate.

Be there early if you can at 6:30 if possilbe, bring as many family members as you can to help, a roll of duct tape and a sturdy empty box or two.

If you would like to pick out a route before Wednesday call me in the evening @ 978 443-2500 and I’ll help you pick one out over the phone.

The reports and warrants will be arriving at the church @ about
4:15 so if anyone is available to help unload for less than an hour that would be great.

Thank you,
