Welcome to Troop 61

Hi all,

Several parents have asked me about the Parent Guide to Summer Camp, and I’ve
enclosed the url for the online version that can be downloaded and printed. If
you have any problems, let me know and I’ll print one off for you.

There is an additional permission form requested by the camp for parents to sign
so their sons can use the firing range this year. Nothing else is changed, it is
still supervised by experienced and qualified instructors hired by the camp, and
I will be there and checking it out as well, but the camp has requested we give
them an extra permission. If after reading the form you still have questions
please do not hesitate to contact me, I’m happy to go over it with you.

So look over the list of merit badge classes - they’re all contained in the
Guide, and as soon as you’re ready let Mr Eyermann know which classes you’d like
to take. You can sign up for classes up until the last moment, but the sooner
you are registered, the sooner you’ll be sure you got into the classes you
wanted. And I will be happy too!

Read on, don’t forget the bug spray, and let me know how you make out. Remember
- there’s still time to sign up for camp, even if you didn’t do it in time for
the Early Bird discount, there’s no reason to sign up even at the last moment.
We’ll always have room for one more even up to the day before camp starts on the
15th!!
