Christmas Tree Sale - have you signed up for your shifts yet?
Yes, today it’s Halloween and tomorrow it’s November 1st! And what is so special about November 1st? It’s 10 days until the Coral set up for our annual Christmas Tree Sale! Hard to believe, but true. And thanks to Marty’s new online signup page, it’s easier than ever to choose your shift. Lots of spots have already been taken, but there’s still a good selection left, and if you hurry you may get your first choice of time slots.
Seriously, in less time than you think we’ll be starting our sale and we can’t do it without all of you. Each and every person, Scout and Adult alike, is important to making our sale a success. This is the way we support all the camping trips and adventures we take all year long. And the sale supports not just our Troop 61, but also the other two troops in town. Every Scout in Sudbury is depending on us to do our best. So practice those tree tying knots and buy that extra pair of waterproof gloves. And most of all - Sign up for those shifts! We need you.
Any questions, concerns or opinions (well, maybe not opinions) please feel free to call or contact me at any time. I’m happy to help in any way I can. And if you and your Scout are new to the sale this year, then call or drop by and we’ll share some anecdotes of years past with you. Always a good time.

Hi Everyone,
Just to add to Anne’s post (and to reiterate what I said at the Court of Honor) we would like all scouts to sign up for a minimum of three shifts. We would like parents to sign up for two (or more) shifts per family. This is our primary Troop fundraiser and helps pay for equipment and outings such as the Martha’s Vineyard trip. After 11/19 we will assign shifts to Scouts who have not signed up on their own, so go to it!
Thank you for your support, -K-
